Steve started Essential Features in August 2009 after 15 years working with two large wholesale and retail tile suppliers. Steve had started his working career at 17 in the hospitality industry working in two Travelodge hotels over 5 years, with this start in hospitality brought his customer service aspect to the tile industry. Always known as the quite achiever, Steve is genuine in his dealings with people and always wants the best for his clients.

Michelle has had experience in administration in her early career then by chance she worked part time in a large retail tile shop after the birth of her second son and became one of the best sales people within the company in short space of time. After this she found an opportunity to join Flight Centre and worked her way to being store manager. Michelle joined Essential Features in 2012 to help Steve but her travel customers where still wanting her service that much that Essential Features Travel Pty Ltd was started in 2013…..but when CoVid 19 came along she decided to end the travel and its now all about the tiles.
